Hi everyone! I am glad that you are visiting my website. I wanted to create a website so I could share what's happening in my life with my family, friends, and fans. Let me tell you a little about the site first. My dads (Daddy- Jerry; Papi - Andres), helped me pick what I wanted in the website and my friend, Fabio, from Doghaus Design in Florida designed it for us. The first thing you may have noticed is my name. My full name is Jordan Pisey Windle. Pisey is my Cambodian name. It means, "little darling" in Khmer (pronounced Kah-my) -- the Cambodian language.
The photo behind the website is Angkor Wat. It is the most famous temple in Cambodia. It was built by King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century! Angkor Wat is the most visited tourist site in Cambodia and is still used today as a Buddhist Temple. I am very proud to be from Cambodia and I am proud to be an American - that is why I wanted Angkor Wat and the American Flag to be on the home page of my website. I hope one day I can go back to visit Cambodia and maybe even meet the King! That would be amazing!
The 2016 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, will be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! My goal is to be a member of the United States Diving Olympic Team! I want to compete in both the 10 meter platform individual and synchronized events.
An Orphan No More: The True Story of a Boy - chapter one
Your purchase of my book will support my training towards becoming a member of the 2016 USA Olympic Diving Team. Thank you for supporting me!
I was born in a small village in the province of Prey Veng, Cambodia. My birth parents died when I was a baby. I was placed in an orphanage in Phnom Penh, the Capital of Cambodia, when I was just a year old. I lived in the orphanage until I was two; that is when my dad adopted me.
